Recently, China Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd. of Energy China won the contract for the Kabuyanda Dam Project in Uganda, marking another step forward in CGGC's rolling development in the Ugandan market.

Located in Isingiro District in southwestern Uganda, the project will, upon completion, strongly advance the rational development and efficient utilization of water resources in the region, help ease irrigation water shortages for local agriculture, and mitigate the impact of flooding. It carries great economic and political significance for improving livelihoods in remote communities and bolstering border security. In Uganda, agricultural irrigation, flood control and disaster mitigation, and energy and transport are priority areas of infrastructure construction.
