Grid-Connected Success! Powering Uzbekistan’s Green & Bright Future A landmark breakthrough for Central Asia’s clean energy transition!

The 300MW Navoi Integrated Energy Solar Project, built by Energy China TEPC, has officially grid-connected and entered system commissioning.

As Uzbekistan’s first large-scale integrated new energy benchmark project and Central Asia’s debut new energy facility equipped with fully automatic intelligent solar panel installation robots, the project integrates a 300MW solar power station and a 150MW/300MWh energy storage station. Annually generating 750 million kWh of clean electricity, the project effectively resolves long-standing local power supply instability issues, guaranteeing reliable power for residential life, schools, medical institutions and public facilities, and greatly elevates residents’ well-being. Meanwhile, the advanced solar plus energy storage model provides stable, cost-effective green power, cuts industrial energy consumption costs, optimizes Uzbekistan’s energy structure and fuels local industrial upgrading and steady economic growth. In terms of sustainable ESG development, the project reduces 1.61 million tons of annual carbon dioxide emissions, significantly lowering regional carbon footprint. It strongly advances Uzbekistan’s energy transformation and low-carbon development goals, setting a high-standard green development benchmark for Central Asia’s new energy industry and embodying the win-win sustainable cooperation between China and Central Asian countries.
