On January 12, China Gezhouba Group No. 1 Engineering Co., Ltd. won the bid for a wind power project in Cambodia.

Planned with 20 units of 8 MW wind turbines, the project is one of the first batch of large-scale wind power projects in Cambodia, and represents a critical node in the region’s energy transition. Upon completion, it will not only effectively optimize the regional energy supply mix, but also drive the upgrade of related industries, create jobs, and boost incomes, thereby contributing to high-quality socio-economic development in the region.
