On 20th November local time，400kV general substation for United Solar Polysilicon (FZC) SPC 100 KPTA Polysilicon Project, EPC-contracted by China Energy Engineering Group Shanxi Electric Power Engineering Co.,Ltd.(SEPEC), was successfully synchronized. This successful milestone provides strong support for the subsequent commissioning and power supply of various production systems at United Solar Polysilicon Oman.

Located in the Omani Gobi Desert, the project faces extremely harsh natural conditions, with summer temperatures frequently exceeding 50 degrees Celsius, posing significant challenges to on-site construction organization, equipment commissioning, and personnel operations. Despite these difficulties, the project team not only strictly adhered to Oman's OETC construction standards and efficiently integrated and utilized local resources, but also implemented comprehensive and meticulous management of project safety, quality, and schedule, ensuring key milestones were completed on time and successfully achieving the project's initial grid connection goal.

The project's successful synchronization for the first time marks a significant milestone. It also represents a solid fulfillment of the commitments made by the project owner and the local community in Oman to promote industrial modernization and energy structure transformation, and to achieve sustainable development. This will inject new momentum into the development of the green energy industry in the Middle East and even globally.
