Successful Steam Blowing of Boiler#2 of Biovea Biomass Power Plant Project in Côte d'Ivoire by CEEC

On 23 November,2025 (Local Time), Boiler # 2 of the 46 MW Biovea Biomass Power Plant in Côte d'Ivoire successfully underwent steam blowing, which is a key milestone achieved by the CEEC Consortium as the EPC Contractor.

After on-site verification, a total of 40 blowing cycles were performed during this process. The last cycles met the target cleanliness criteria continuously, and the blowing coefficient satisfied the standard.

Located in the Aboisso Department, east of Abidjan, the Project is the largest biomass power plant under construction in West Africa. Upon completion, it will significantly contribute to the transformation of the local energy structure and enhance ecological conservation. The plant is expected to generate 34.8 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 180,000 tons and meet the electricity demand of 1.7 million people, thereby greatly promoting local employment, livelihoods, and economic development.
